"Building the future of Materials Science"
The Center for Materials Innovation at Washington University
in St. Louis is a community of scholars assembled to conduct
educational and research activities focused on the creation,
study and use of materials. Our goals are to:
- bring synergy to materials-driven research programs
and promote interdisciplinary interactions at Washington University,
- enhance the intellectual opportunities and research options
for our undergraduate and graduate students, and offer interdisciplinary degrees in Materials Science,
- foster and enhance interactions between the College of Arts & Sciences,
the School of Engineering & Applied Science and the Medical School at Washington University.
