CMI Graduate Fellowships:

The Center will award each year two Fellowships to outstanding first-year graduate students, with the possibility of renewal for a second year. CMI Fellows receive a yearly stipend of $6,000 in addition to their regular departmental support. Each year advanced students are eligible to compete for a Senior CMI Fellowship with the same yearly stipend.

Graduate student fellowships and assistantships are also available to students interested in Materials Research in several Departments affilicated with the Center; please contact the Departmental representatives for further information.

Postdoctoral positions:

  • From Professor Sophia Hayes: Applications for postdocs from Germany are always welcome, funded in conjunction with the Lynen Fellows Program of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Information can be obtained here.
