    • novel instrumentation for online measurement of nanoparticle size distributions

  • Magnetic materials, focusing on:
    • superior magnetic sensors

    • enhanced magnetic imaging.

  • Biological and Biomedical Materials, focusing on:
    • Enhancing the biocompatibility of materials
    • Understanding the properties of biological materials
    • Design of nanoparticles for drug delivery
    • Synthesis of bioinspired materials using nanotechnology

  • Materials for Energy Applications, focusing on:
    • Materials for hydrogen storage and sensing
